Hamilton Police search for credit card thieves

Hamilton Police are asking the public’s help to identify two suspects who stole a purse and then used the stolen credit cards to make fraudulent purchases at the Hamilton Marketplace.

Police said the suspects stole a purse and wallet from the victim at the Hamilton Marketplace Barnes & Noble, located on Route 130, on Sunday, Oct. 16. The suspects then went to Walmart and Bed Bath & Beyond and made fraudulent credit card purchases with the victim’s card, according to a statement from the police department.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspects is asked to contact Det. Dan Inman of the Hamilton Police Division’s Criminal Investigations Section at (609) 581-4035 or the Hamilton Police Crime Tip Hotline at (609) 581-4008.
