U11 premier girls soccer team tryouts set for May

Tryouts for a U11 girls premier soccer team, the Hamilton Wildcats, are set for May.

The Wildcats are looking for experienced players to add to their roster.

Tryouts are scheduled for 6 to 7:30 p.m. May 6, 9 and 13 at Veterans Park, 2206 Kuser Road, Hamilton.

The team competes in the top flight of the Jersey Area Girls Soccer league. They won first place in their flight in fall 2011, spring 2012 and fall 2011.

Along with JASS games, the team expects to play in the New Jersey State Cup, Columbus Day tournament, Winter futsal league play. US Club New Jersey Cup and a Memorial Day tournament.

The Wildcats are coached by Warren Lewis, who has 8 years of coaching experienced and has a U.S. Soccer Federation “E” coaching license. Assistant coaches are Ken Miranda, USSF “C,” and Brian Pesce, USSD “F.”
