Diamonds of Pennington, a restaurant specializing in Italian cuisine, has closed its Route 31 location.

Owners Tommy and Anthony Zucchetti released a statement announcing Aug. 5 as “an ending to a chapter in the Diamonds family history.” In addition to the restaurant closing, the Zucchetti brothers said they are no longer involved with their former partners.

Their second location, Diamonds of Hamilton, will remain open. The Hamilton restaurant, located at 601 Route 33, will honor all gift cards purchased at the Pennington location within the past 12 months.

Diamonds of Pennington Executive Chef Armando Rodas and other personnel from the Pennington location will be joining the Hamilton staff.

“Diamonds of Hamilton is located within just a short 15-minute drive of the old Pennington location and offers that mouthwatering food combined with the tremendous service you’ve come to know and love from a team dedicated to providing you with the excellence you deserve as part of our family,” the Zucchetti brothers said in a joint-statement.
