Miracle League of Mercer County to host all-star game with Trenton Thunder

Trenton Thunder is co-hosting an all-star game in conjunction with Miracle League of Mercer County.

The Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, the Trenton Thunder have forged a unique bond with the Miracle League of Mercer County having assisted as buddies and honored them during their annual HOPE Week.

The first event of its kind, this all-star game and vendor event, will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 8 at the Hamilton Area YMCA Sawmill Branch (185 Sawmill Road, Hamilton).

There will be baseball, games, and food. Pre-game ceremonies begin at 6 p.m. Game starts at 6:15 p.m. There is a suggested minimum donation of $5 per person to attend.

All monies raised will go directly to supporting Miracle League of Mercer County. The Miracle League relies on the generous support of sponsors and donors to build a positive, inclusive environment that serves children with disabilities as well and engaging the surrounding community.
