Bordentown Township Fishing Derby set for July 4

The Bordentown Township annual Fourth of July Fish Derby will be held July 4 at Northern Community Park from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Free registration begins at 9 a.m. A limited amount of prizes and trophies will be awarded.

The State Division of Fish and Wildlife will stock the pond before the derby. The Mercer County Anglers Association will be on-site to assist with measuring the fish.

All children must be accompanied by an adult. Bring your own fishing supplies, including rods and bait. Children ages 2-13 are eligible to place in the derby, but all ages are welcome. For more information, call the mayor’s office at(609) 298-2800 ext. 2109.
