The Sierra Club is seeking volunteers to help build a hiking trail in Robbinsville.

The trail, which is part of the Assunpink Greenway, is set to cross Route 130 on the Assunpink creek and proceed to Mercer County Park.

According to Robert Sokol, volunteers generally meet on weekend from 9 a.m. to noon. Tasks include clearing undergrowth and cutting away larger trees.

Many volunteers bring their own tools, such as hand clippers, hand saws and loopers.
