Phylicia Rashad supports Young Scholars Institute

August Wilson’s Fences director Phylicia Rashad, of The Cosby Show fame, showed her support for the Young Scholars Institute during a fundraiser on Jan. 11

Rashad joined more than 100 YSI supporters at a special reception following a performance at McCarter Theatre in Princeton.

YSI is a year-round non-profit learning center that provides educational, cultural and recreational activities for students in pre-K through 12th grade. Programming includes tutoring, SAT prep classes, pre-professional clubs, college tours, career planning workshops and a Saturday reading program.
