Ashley Hudson, also of West Windsor, was named a semi-finalist in the 2006 Letters About Literature contest requiring students to write letters to an author explaining how a poem or book affected their view of the world or themselves. The seventh grade student wrote her letter to Wilhelm Grimm about his book “Dear Mili” as part of her English class at PDS.

She will be honored at an awards ceremony in May at Drumthwacket.
