Following are some questions for which answers have languished in indecision for many months. Let’s call them “”10 Questions with 10 @ 1-Minute Answers.””##M:[more]##

(1). What are plans for the clearing of Sunrise Park for active HS-South and township recreation, just behind Arnold Drive between Penn Lyle Road and the WW Little League? Who can make something happen on that project?

(2). What is the active location/decision of the process to dredge Grover’s Mill Pond?

(3). Can we post (publish) minutes and more detailed agendas of Council, Planning & Zoning Board meetings – with a link for either WW Twp website or offsite viewing? Aren’t these minutes public information, by definition, to inform residents? How do we get more people involved in government processes if information isn’t forthcoming?

(4). What further needs to be done on tthe township’s sign ordinance? Can’t we use the existing ordinance to collect fines to fund on-going enforcement and revisions?

(5). Several residents have recommended interim month-to-month parking at the Old PJ Firehouse. My perspective is a funding mechanism for repairs to the township-owned building. We should ‘test’ it. If it doesn’t work, then we cease. Over three years, the township has left $100,”000 uncollected but spent or appropriated $150,”000 before beginning to make it usable. People are currently parking in the Old Firehouse lot for a variety of uses with no benefit or relief for the Township taxpayers.

(6). Broadcasting commitment from School district staff and Comcast Cable staff: Last July, I appeared before Council to tout the virtues of taping for rebroadcast: (A). the Zoning Board and (B). Planning Board meetings (C). Transit

Village proceedings for taxpayers and the public. Our school district students are skilled artisans who VIDEO TAPE to DVD competently. We keep hearing about the Cable TV Advisory Board elixir – but we don’t see or hear of action. I spent all fall season trying to make this happen. Too, given the importance of up-coming Transit Village discussions, we might have TWO large screens for the Council and gallery, respectively, to view. Does the Township or township enterprise have a projector which will give viewers an 80″” image on two screens? There are corporations within West Windsor which might share their technology and expertise if you ask for it.

(7). What is the Township (administration and/or Council) Plan to Partner with the WWP schools for volunteer credit? This should benefit a variety of administrative functions – from taxes to recreation to updating records. WW Council President Linda Geevers was elected to Council based, in part, on school board experience. Where is this translating into benefits after 6 months at the helm?

(8). What assumptions is Administration using in preparation of its Annual Budget? What % increase/decrease/remain the same are we working with for July 2007- June 2008?

(9). What was this year’s 2006-2007 snow budget (labor, OT, and materials)? Has any money been transferred from that budget? If so, where?

(10). Can we start fundraising for the new HazMat building behind Twin W First Aid?

Bonus Question:

(11). It is still difficult for all present in the Councilroom to hear Council and presenters speak. It would benefit many in attendance to make changes to the current system by turning up the volume, extending the microphones from 12″” to 18″” to closer to those who speaker… for the gallery to hear what is being said by those on the dais.

Thank you.
