Drivers who frequent the Pennington Circle on Route 31 are pretty familiar with the scenery in the area. Or they were before today.

Passersby today were treated to the scene of a demolition, as the old Hopewell Super Buy Rite liquor store was in the process of being knocked down.

Not to worry: the shop is now all moved in to its new location adjacent to its former location, alongside a newly built CVS pharmacy.

Once the demolition is complete and the site is cleared, the space will be used for more parking.
