Unionville Vineyards will participate in the 2014 Garden State Wine Growers’ Holiday Wine Trail Weekend from Nov. 28 to 30.

This year, locals can skip the mall on Black Friday and instead head to Unionville Vineyards, one of the participating wineries in the 2014 Garden State Wine Growers’ Annual Holiday Wine Trail Weekend, set for Nov. 28 to 30.

Guests will enjoy wine tastings, collect ornaments for grapevine wreaths and shop for holiday gifts for wine and food-loving friends and family members. On Sunday, Nov. 30, Unionville will present live jazz music by the Chernoff duo along with local vendors Holly Jolly Jams and Blue Moon Acres.

The Unionville tasting room is open from noon to 5 p.m., with public tours at 2:30 p.m. On Sunday the 30th, live jazz music will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. A list of all participating wineries is available online at newjerseywines.com/event/holiday-wine-trail-weekend/2014-11-28/.
