The Woman’s Club of Lawrenceville recently announced the winners of this year’s Mary Darwin Heath Memorial Scholarship.

The two scholarship awards of $2,000 per year for four years of school are awarded to Skylar Guadagno and Natalia Ziemlinski, both Lawrence High School seniors.

The scholarship has been in existence for more than 75 years and is made possible by the donations and fundraising efforts of the Woman’s Club of Lawrenceville membership.

Guadagno was always interested in science and math, but only recently discovered her passion for physics.

She is captain of the varsity cheerleading squad, works multiple jobs and spends time volunteering. Her dream is to study physics and become an educator. She will attend Rutgers.

Ziemlinski’s passion for the past 13 years has been dance, and for the last five years she has been competing.

In addition to the many hours per week she spends at the dance studio. She enjoys volunteering and hopes to pursue a career in health sciences. She will attend Rider.
