The Southside Wanderers, a popular Central Jersey cover band, will bring their rock ‘n’ roll energy to the Lawrence Headquarters Branch of the Mercer County Library System on Thursday, Dec. 19, at 6:30 p.m.

The concert, part of the library’s winter event lineup, will feature an array of classic hits from the Oldies, Motown, British Invasion, Doo-Wop, and Classic Rock genres. The event is free to the public, but advanced registration is appreciated.

“We’re excited to welcome the Southside Wanderers to Mercer County,” said County Executive Dan Benson. “Thanks to the support of our Friends of the Library groups, we’re able to offer programs and events that bring our community together.”

The Lawrence Headquarters Branch is located at 2751 Brunswick Pike, in Lawrence Township. To register or for more information, call 609-883-8292, email lawprogs@mcl.org, or visit mcl.org.

The concert is sponsored by the Friends of the Lawrence Library, a volunteer group that helps support programs like this and others, such as book sales, workshops, and community events for adults and children.
