Princeton Pike will be closed overnight for one week starting Wednesday, Aug. 8, according to a notice sent out by Lawrence Township.

The road will be closed between Lewisville Road and Fackler Road from the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. for repaving.

Township officials said all work and closures are being conducted at night due to the high volume of traffic on Princeton Pike during the day from commuters traveling from Princeton to Lawrence.

A detour route will be posted. The roadway will be open to school buses, emergency vehicles, garbage trucks and local residents at all times.
