Artists Shellie Jacobson is set to display her work at the the Lawrenceville School’s Gruss Center of Visual Arts.

Jacobson’s exhibition, called Surface and Space, is scheduled to run March 31 to April 26 in the Marguerite & James Hutchins Gallery. An opening reception is set for 6:30 to 8 p.m. April 3.

Surface and Space features Jacobson’s ceramics, clay monotypes, and printmaking on paper. She said her monotypes were inspired by “fallen trees in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.”

Her books are part of the recent EPI traveling exhibition to Costa Rica, Mexico, and England. Two of her books will be included in the Lark book series, “500 Artists Books.”
