Lawrence library seeks volunteers

Friends of the Lawrence Library are seeking volunteers to help sort donated books for their January Book Sale.

Work is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Jan. 14 – 16.

Friends of the Lawrence Library are also seeking volunteers to help during the sale.

The book sale is scheduled to begin Jan.17 with a special After-hours Preview, 6 to 8:30 p.m. Admission to the preview event is free to members of the Friends of the Library.

The book sale is set to continue until Jan. 25 during the library’s open hours.

Proceeds from the book sale fund programs and other library services that benefit Lawrence Headquarters Branch Library patrons of all ages.

In appreciation for their service, volunteers are eligible to select five books from the sale.

Interested volunteers should email book sale volunteer coordinator Eve Connolly at eveconn@comcast.net with the dates and times they are available.

The Lawrence Branch of the Mercer County Library System is located at 2751 Brunswick Pike, Lawrenceville.
