The I-95 northbound/I-295 southbound Exit 67 ramp to Route 1 will be closed in both directions this weekend, according to New Jersey Department of Transportation officials. Both directions of the ramp will reopen on Monday morning.

The Lawrence ramp will be closed in both directions from 10 p.m. on Friday, April 7 to 5 a.m. on Monday, April 10 as construction crews continue work to replace the bridge deck.

The ramp to both Route 1 northbound and southbound will reopen Monday morning. Construction crews will continue work on the southbound ramp, which has been closed since January, working behind behind a construction barrier on a guide rail, parapets and other items.

While the ramp will be open, officials expect additional weekend closures this spring for the final paving and removing of the construction barrier.

During this weekend’s closure, motorists will be detoured to Exit 65A—Sloan Avenue in Hamilton—then directed onto I-295 northbound where they will use Exit 67B to access Route 1 northbound or southbound.

The precise timing of the work is subject to change due to weather or other factors, DOT officials said. For more information visit 511nj.org.
