Cub Scouts celebrate becoming Boy Scouts

On Saturday, February 21, 14 Webelos II Cub Scouts from Pack 28 took part in the Arrow of Light and Crossover Ceremony to become Boy Scouts. Eight of the boys will join Boy Scout Troop 27 and six join Boy Scout Troop 28. Representatives from both Boy Scout troops also attended the evening to welcome the newest members of their troops.

The celebration involved skits, food and learning the history behind America’s first flag. Roger William, a vexillologist (expert in the history of flags) shared the history of how England’s flag evolved into the first American flag.
