Chef Linda Jacobs Snyder, author of She Chef, will be speaking on Thursday, March 13, at 2 p.m. at the Mercer County Library System’s Lawrence Headquarters Branch to celebrate Women’s History Month.

Snyder will share her personal journey as a chef and reflect on the world’s changes since the 1960s.

In her memoir, She Chef, Snyder recounts how her culinary path began near Greenwich Village, where she gained exposure to various cultures. A graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, Snyder eventually became a chef and later the owner of Soup to Nuts Caterers.

The event, hosted by the 60s Group and co-sponsored by the Mercer County Library System, will focus on Snyder’s career experiences and their influence on today’s world.

Registration for the event is encouraged. Attendees can register online at the Mercer County Library System’s website, mcl.org, or call 609-883-8292 for more information.

The Lawrence Headquarters Branch is located at 2751 Brunswick Pike, Lawrenceville, N.J. 08648.
