The Arts Council of Princeton (ACP) has scheduled two concerts in early October.
On Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. the David Grossman Quartet, featuring Dave Grossman (guitar/vocals), Bob Himmelburger (keyboard), Rick Crane (bass) and Dave Larson (drums) will perform unique jazz compositions, re-imagined pop songs and classics from the Great American Song Book. Jazz painter Easton Davy will offer a visual counterpart to the performance, and will showcase his artwork for purchase at a reception afterwards. Tickets will be available at the door for $10 regular and $8 for ACP members, students and seniors.
On Oct. 12, The Council will present indie folkpop singer Sarah Donner (featuring singer Marian Call) in concert to celebrate the release of her fifth studio album, That is a Pegasus. Donner’s music has played on Conan O’Brien’s blog, NPR, Showtime and CBS News. The show will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Guests have the option to purchase their ticket and CD for an inclusive $22 fee. Ticket-only pricing is $12 regular and $10 for ACP members, students and seniors.
Both events will take place at the Paul Robeson Center for the Arts, 102 Witherspoon Street, Princeton. Parking is available in the Spring and Hulfish Street Garages and at metered parking along Witherspoon Street and Paul Robeson Place.
