Walking tour to reveal Hopewell’s history

Hopewell Public Library is set to host a historic walking tour Oct. 26.

Library volunteer Cindy Friedman is set to lead the tour down Broad Street.

She plan to share facts and story about early Hopewell, like how the public library building was originally Hopewell National Bank built in 1980. The library was founded in a 1914 in a former harness shop, now Franco’s Pizza.

The walking tour is a follow-up to September’s scavenger hunt. Scavenger hunt designer Annie Anderson plan to attend the tour.

The tour is scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m. at the library building, 13 W. Broad St.
