Trenton emigrant celebrates 100th birthday

Bianca Vispetti celebrates her birthday one day early with her friends and family at Hamilton Continuing Care Center on Oct. 27, 2013.

Bianca Vispetti of Trenton celebrated her 100th birthday Oct. 28.

The eldest of five children, Vispetti was born in Castell’ Ottieri in Tuscany, Italy in 1913.

She immigrated to Trenton with her husband Pietro in 1956. Later, they purchased their first house in cash on Anderson Street, where they remained until becoming ill.

In 2007, Vispetti moved to Hamilton Continuing Care Center.

Vispetti has two children, Andrea Vispetti of Allentown and Anna Falvo of Hamilton Township. She has four grandchildren, Anthony Vispetti, Joey Vispetti, Lilianna Broselli and Daniela Repack; and four great-grandchildren, Bianca and Melina Broselli, and Lorenzo and Arianna Repack.
