Terhune Orchards to host Farm to Table Fundraiser Dinner

Terhune Orchards is set to host a Farm to Table benefit dinner on Thursday, July 23.

Terhune Orchards is set to host Farm to Table Fare for Sustainability Jersey, a fundraiser to benefit the Green Teams and Sustinability Organizations of Mercer County in the Mercer Sustainability Coalition. The benefit will take place on Thursday, July 23 starting at 5 p.m.

Well-known local chefs from Terra Momo Restaurant Group will come together to celebrate the Farm to Table movement and promote awareness about sustainability efforts while raising money to fund them under the auspices of the Mercer County Sustainability Coalition.

Guests will enjoy a five-course meal with wine pairing, cocktails and live music in the new Terhune Barn. The following chefs have donated their time and talent for the event: Terry Strong, Joseph Voller, Frank Caponi,Hillery Uricks, Brett Matthew. Gabby Carbon of The Bend Spoon is also participating.

Cocktails will be served starting at 5 p.m. and dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $100.00 per person, $150 per couple and can be purchased at mercersustainabilitycoalition.wordpress.com/farmtotable/.

This year the Green Teams and Sustainability Organizations of Mercer County in the Mercer County Sustainability Coalition: Ewing, Hopewell Valley, Lawrence, Trenton, West Windsor, Sustainable Lawrence and Sustainable Princeton will be the beneficiaries.
