Sourland Conservancy announces annual music festival lineup

Americana, blues and rock musician Jo Wymer is set to headline this year’s Sourland Music Festival.

The 11th annual festival is scheduled for 4 to 10 p.m. July 19 at the Hillsborough Golf and Country Club, 146 Wertsville Road, Hillsborough Township. A rain date is set for July 20.

Wymer, a New Jersey native, is a 2014 Grammy nominee and winner of the 2012 JAM award for Top Female Performer. She has worked and recorded with Norah Jones, The E Street Band and Warren Haynes.

Wymer will backed by the Matt O’Ree Band. The winner of multiple Asbury Park Music Awards, the world touring Matt O’Ree Band bring audiences back to the 70s when heavy blues influenced rock and roll.

The lineup also features CB Radio, Dave Stryker, Norman Taylor and Slackjaw.

Sourland Music Festival raises money for the Sourland Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that works to protect the ecological integrity, historic resources and special character of the Sourland Mountain region.

Adult tickets are $20 online and $25 at the door. Tickets are $5 online and $6 at the door for children age seven to 13. Admission for children under seven is free.
