Pennington Dance Company is set to perform at Pennington Day.

The performance is scheduled for 12-12:45 p.m. May 17 at the “Crossroads”, the intersection of Main Street and Curlis Avenue, Pennington.

The Company’s 45-minute program includes ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, tap and pre-school dance numbers to Broadway, swing, classical and Latin music.

More than 70 dancers ranging in age from four to 18 will perform. Choreographers include Pennington Dance teachers Taylor Miller, Jenny Gladney, Ashley Miller, Sarah O’Keefe and Nancy Warner.

Arielle Kline is set to present a student-choreographed piece.

The Pennington Dance Company has performed for Pennington Day since its inception in 1980.

The nonprofit dance troupe, under the direction of Nancy Warner, offers young dancers the opportunity to experiment with their own choreography and to have additional performance experiences beyond the annual recital in which all students may perform.
