In the Everyday, an exhibition by painter Jackie Austin, is set to be displayed April 3 through 26 at The Pennington School’s Silva Gallery of Art, 112 West Delaware Ave, Pennington.

A Montana native, Austin was influenced by wild landscape, unpredictable weather and continually changing sky. After living on both United State’s coasts, South Korea, The Gambia and Ghana, she now resides in Maryland.

She studied realism and abstraction and worked with many mediums, including watercolors, textiles, pastel, wood carving and furniture design.

The gallery is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, or by appointment.

Silva Gallery of Art events and exhibitions are free and open to the public.
