Seven students from Hopewell Valley Regional School District elementary schools participated in the New Jersey American Choral Directors Association Elementary Honor Choir on May 6.

The students accepted this year from Hopewell Valley elementary schools were Anna Kudryashova, Jeong-Wan Han, Aya Nestle, and Samanvita Kamath from Stony Brook Elementary School, Deethya Karthikvastsan and Sydney Rick from Bear Tavern Elementary School, and Stevie Sanderson from Toll Gate Grammar School.

The NJ Honor Choir is a competitive audition choir that provides talented elementary and junior high singers an opportunity to work with some of the best conductors from the state and around the country. Students are challenged at an advanced level with other students who love to sing.
