Hopewell photo gallery to open new exhibitions

Two photographers are set to display their work at Gallery 14.

The exhibition is scheduled to run Nov. 16 to Dec. 15. A “meet the artist” reception is set for 1 to 3:30 p.m. Nov. 17.

Charlie Gross is set to exhibit Far and Near, photographs from his travels to mainland China. It also includes Jewish cemeteries from Krakow and Warsaw, a cemetery in Tibet, a cemetery in Santa Fe and skulls in Portugal and Greece and the Golden Gate in San Francisco.

First-time exhibitor Jesse Hurler is set to display Shades of Me.

Gallery hours are 12 to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Gallery 14 is located at 14 Mercer Street, Hopewell.
