Dance instructor Jenny Gladney prepares for the Contemporary Dance Workshop set for Jan. 15 through Feb. 12 at Pennington Dance.

A five week dance workshop is set to begin Jan. 22.

Pennington Dance said it is offering a five-week Contemporary Dance Workshop taught by Jenny Gladney.

Pennington Dance said Gladney has ballet instructor at the studio for eight years. She studied with Princeton Ballet School’s Professional Training Program and performed professionally with the American Repertory Ballet Ensemble.

Workshop classes are set to meet Tuesday evenings from 8:00 to 8:45 pm Jan. 22, 29, Feb. 12, March12 and May 21.

Classes are set for the Pennington Dance studio in the Cyrus Lodge, 131 Burd St., Pennington.

The cost is set for $155.

Pennington Dance said choreography created in the workshop will be performed in its year-end performance on June 2

Pennington Dance said dancers with a foundation in contemporary dance or ballet are best prepared for the class. Those with strong jazz, lyrical or modern technique background are also eligible.
