Trenton Catholic Academy students spread Christmas cheer

Trenton Catholic Academy students were busy celebrating Christmas in school and the community during the month of December.

The TCA Upper School Baking Club made nearly 300 cupcakes in preparation for the school’s Christmas Party.

The Upper School Choir traveled to Clare Bridge Senior Living Center in Hamilton to entertain the residents. The choir read ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas and an updated version of The Gifts of the Magi. They also sang traditional carols.

Students also performed at TCA’s Christmas Concert on Dec. 12. Each class in the Lower School sang two songs. The Upper School Choir contributed several songs, while a combined choir finished the concert with the Hallelujah Chorus.

TCA revealed their first live mascot at the school’s December pep rally. Senior Senior Frank Hernandez-Morales stepped into the legendary Iron Mike’s shoes. He plans to be a fixture at upcoming basketball games and other school events.
