The Trenton Catholic Academy Parent Teacher Academy (PTA) will be hosting the Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey’s (PDFNJ) 15 Minute Child Break program on Dec. 4 at 7 p.m.

The 15 Minute Child Break is an hour-long multi-media presentation offered by the Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey, according to Angelo Valente, Executive Director of the PDFNJ. He said the program will discuss how to talk to children about drugs, signs of use and abuse, current terminology, trends of use and the importance of the parent or caregiver’s role in substance abuse prevention in general. The presentation is based on specific state-wide research conducted by the PDFNJ’s Center for Prevention Research.

The PDFNJ offers a variety of free programs, services and materials. For more information visit drugfreenj.org.
