St. Francis Medical Center’s parent organization has announced its new name, Trinity Health, which is accompanied by a new branding identity and strategy that emphasizes a people-centered approach to its service.

“We are proud that St. Francis Medical Center is a part of Trinity Health,” said Christy Stephenson, Interim CEO and President, “As we celebrate this historic moment, the symbolism of our national system’s new logo inspires us. We are also proud of the way our ministry’s collaborations in the larger system serve not only to strengthen St. Francis’ ability to provide the highest quality care to our community, but that our efforts help strengthen other affiliates’ ability to best serve those who rely on them, as well.”

Known as CHE Trinity Health since the May 2013 merger of Catholic Health East and the former ministry of Trinity Health, St. Francis Medical Center’s parent organization now moves past the post-merger integration phase into a strategic implementation phase. One of their main goals is to strengthen local hospitals like St. Francis to ensure that they can continue to provide the best possible care to their communities.

St. Francis Medical Center and Trinity Health’s shared mission is fully representative of their Catholic identity. Trinity Health’s new purple and green logo depicts that mission, featuring a cross formed by the wings of four doves. Three purple doves, reflecting the Holy Trinity, come together with a green dove, symbolizing the organization’s openness to new partners and ideas.
