Yardville School wears “crazy hats” to support their beloveds secretary’s ill grandson.

In November, school secretary Barbara Carmignani received news that here 5-year-old grandson, Colin, was diagnosed with a rare form of childhood leukemia.

Yardville School said Colin is currently undergoing chemotherapy at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and is scheduled for a bone marrow transplant. They expect him to be hospitalized for the next six months.

Yardville School PTA organized a crazy hat day to support Carmignani and her family. The school raised $1,200 for hospital expenses.
