Rotary to host Wolf Walk and food bank collections

Robbinsville-Hamilton Rotary Club is scheduled to host the Woof Walk and food bank collections in September.

A walk to support the Robbinsville K-9 Division, People for Animals and Megan’s Place Park is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 29 at Robbinsville Town Center gazebo on Lake Drive.

The Woof Walk is a one and a half mile walk for people and their canines. The walk features music refreshments and contests. Early registration is $10 and day of event registration is $15.

The rain date for the Woof Walk set for Oct. 6.

Rotary Club members are set to collect items for the Send Hunger Packing Food Drive on three dates. The Rotary Club is set to donate items to the Mercer St. Friends Food Bank’s school kids backpack program.

The first collection is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 14 at Acme Market, Route 33, Hamilton.

Next, club members are set to collect from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 18 at Shop-Rite Marketplace, Route 130, Hamilton.

The last collection is set for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 21 at Risoldi’s Market, 3100 Quakerbridge Road, Hamilton.
