Morgan students learn about aboriginal art

Morgan Elementary School students participated in an interactive assembly called The Land Down Under on April 3.

Morgan PTA sponsored the event in honor of Fine Arts Day, set for April 11. On Fine Arts Day, student will celebrate music, art and folklore from the South Pacific, including Australia, New Zealand, Samoa and Hawaii.

During the assembly, performer Mary Knych invited students to experience aboriginal instruments, songs and folk tales.
