Lalor Elementary School teachers, neighbors students and their families celebrated the start of autumn at the Fall Festival Oct. 5.

The sound of music and the smells of popcorn, cotton candy, hamburgers, and hot dogs wafted through the air as the Lalor community had fun in the sun.

Children played games, made crafts, went on hay rides and got their faces painted.

Thirteen students from The Lawrenceville School volunteered throughout the day under the auspices of Rachel Cantlay, director of community service.

Dragonfly Farms supplied festive decorations.

Nancy and Ben Yantas, parents of Lalor third grader Isabella and first grader Antonio, took the lead on the planning and implementation of the festival.
