Hamilton residents invited to meet school board candidates Oct. 4

Hamilton residents will have an opportunity to meet the candidates running for school board this Thursday at Saint Phillips Baptist Church.

Pastor Joseph E. Woods is hosting the event, which begins at 6 p.m. The church is located at 445 Parkinson Avenue, and guests are asked to use the Mary Street side entrance.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the candidates and learn about their ideas for Hamilton schools.

All certified Hamilton school board candidates have been invited to participate, according to event organizers. Nine candidates are running for three open seats in the Nov. 6 election.

The voter registration deadline for the Nov. 6 generation election is Tuesday, Oct. 16.
