Hamilton resident attends Nurse in Washington Internship

Hamilton resident Tara Heagele attended the Nurse in Washington Internship held by the Nursing Organizations Alliance in Washington, DC, from March 29 to April 1.

Heagele joined more than 70 conference attendees, including registered nurses and nursing students from several different states. NIWI provides nurses the opportunity to learn how to influence health care through the legislative and regulatory processes.

Heagele works as a nurse in the emergency department at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton.
