Director of St. Francis School of Nursing wins award

Dr. Bonny Ross with several of her nursing students.

New Jersey Nursing Students Inc. recently awarded the 2014 Impact Award Dr. Bonny Ross director of the School of Nursing at St. Francis Medical Center.

The award is given to someone who has made an impact on a student nurse during their education. Ross was nominated by one of her students, Rachael Platt.

Ross has been with St. Francis Medical Center for 27 years. Dr. Ross received her BSN and MA from the University of Iowa and her doctorate from Nova Southeastern University in Florida.

She plans to retire after this semester.
