Two people face multiple drug charges following an extensive narcotics investigation that led Hamilton police to seize cocaine and about $12,000 in cash on March 26.

Jose Urena-Fallas, 38, of Woodbury, and Fatima Tiburcio, 52, of Hamilton, were arrested after police executed search warrants at two residences and two vehicles in Hamilton and Trenton, authorities said.

Both were charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, cocaine possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, and money laundering.

The arrests followed a lengthy investigation by the Hamilton Police Department’s Anti-Crime Unit, supported by the Criminal Investigations Section, Special Weapons and Tactics Team, and the K-9 unit featuring K-9 “Harv.”

Police praised the collaborative effort of all involved personnel.

“We urge the public to continue assisting in our fight against illegal narcotics distribution,” Hamilton police said in a statement. “Your cooperation plays a vital role in maintaining the safety and well-being of our community.”
