Future Stars shine at Greater N.Y. meet

On Dec. 3, Future Stars team girls competed at the Greater New York Invitational in Suffern, New York. Future Stars’ Level 3 gymnasts succeeded in all of the events.

Grace Miller, 9 of Hamilton, took first in the All-Around with a score of 36.875. She also won gold on Floor Exercise (9.40) and on Balance Beam (9.275). Miller won second place on the Uneven Bars (8.80) and third place on Vault (9.40).

Megan Rauscher, 10 of Allentown, took first in the All-Around with a 35.75. She got a gold medal on Floor Exercise (9.4). Rauscher’s Vault earned her another victory with a 9.525. She also took second place on Beam (8.65).

Emma Faith Bullard, 8 of Columbus, took second place on Floor Exercise with 9.55 and third place on Vault with a high score of 9.60.

In the Xcel Diamond level, Lauren Eng, 16 of Allentown, took a gold in the All-Around with 34.675, also on Floor Exercise (9.40), on VAULT (8.875), on Balance Beam (8.75) and Bars as well.

In Level 2, Anastasiia Kislina, 7 of Princeton brought home medals for Floor Exercise (9.05) and Vault (8.90).

The Future Stars Team trains at Future Stars Gymnastics Academy, located at 4 Tennis Ct. in Hamilton. They are coached by Tatyana Godenko, a former Soviet National Team competitor in 1980s, who has almost 30 years of coaching experience.
