Constructions crews will begin work this week to resurface the section of Federal City Road from Bull Run Road to Ewingville Road in Ewing.

According to a statement from the mayor’s office, the roadwork will begin on or about April 5, and it will take approximately 14 business days to finish. Construction will take place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on weekdays, weather permitting.

During construction hours, the area of Federal City Road will be closed to through traffic. However, access for emergency vehicles and local residents will be permitted.

To avoid traffic and heavy congestion, officials ask drivers to plan ahead and use an alternate route.
