County Executive Hughes delivers Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels of Trenton/Ewing volunteer Richard Scheetz and Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes head out to deliver meals on March 18.

On March 18, Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes joined Meals on Wheels of Trenton/Ewing volunteer and board member Richard Scheetz in making meal deliveries to the agency’s clients during the 13th annual March for Meals campaign.

March for Meals is a national education program during the month of March, initiated by Meals on Wheels America, which is designed to help keep older adults safe, healthy and independent in their communities. During 2014, Meals on Wheels of Trenton/Ewing provided close to 50,000 meals in those two municipalities.
