Meals on Wheels of Trenton/Ewing has recently received support from Keller Williams Real Estate and Janssen Pharmaceuticals.

Employees of Keller Williams of Princeton chose to aid MOWTE on their annual Red Day, dedicated to giving back to the community.

On May 8, 26 employees served as Volunteers for A Day at MOWTE, where they provided home delivered service to the home bound of Trenton and Ewing.

Recently, Janssen Pharmaceuticals of Titusville awarded a grant of $15,000 to MOWTE.

According to MOWTE executive director Sasa Olessi Montaño, the grant will provide 2,857 meals to the seniors of Trenton and Ewing.

The Visiting Nurse Association, local congregations and civic leaders founded MOWTE in 1973 to address the need of the seniors in their community who were beginning to suffer malnutrition, ill health and even death due to malnutrition. Presently, MOWTE volunteers home-deliver almost 200 meals a day to the homebound.
