Ewing-based company Church & Dwight donated $50,000 to Trenton Area Soup Kitchen.

Church & Dwight has been a consistent supporter of TASK and has provided assistance by granting funds directly and through its Employee Giving Fund, in addition to sending groups of volunteers to serve dinner at TASK throughout the years.

TASK executive director Dennis Micai said he is grateful for the company’s long time support.

“It is through the support and generosity of Corporations such as Church & Dwight, that we are able to carry out our mission of providing more than 4,000 meals to the hungry of the Greater Trenton area each day,” Micai said in a statement.

TASK serves a hot, nutritious lunch Monday through Friday and an evening meal Monday through Thursday from the main Escher Street location. TASK also serves dinner at satellite locations in South Trenton, West Trenton, Hightstown and Princeton.
