A blood drive at PEAC Health and Fitness is set for Jan. 21 1:00 to 7:00 p.m.
The American Red Cross’ Bloodmobile is set to be outside PEAC’s location at 1440 Lower Ferry Road, Ewing.
The American Red Cross said the average adult has about 10 pints of blood in his body. Roughly one pint is given during a donation, which will aide as many as three patients.
PEAC asks those interested to register for a donation appointment at www.redcrossblood.org and enter Sponsor Code 02212770. Additionally they ask donors to bring your photo identification, eat a healthy breakfast and drink plenty of fluids before donating.
