Students win big at Scholastic Olympics

St. Raphael School 8th grade students participated in the Scholastic Olympics, held this year at Trenton Catholic Academy. The students took third place overall. Four students received individual awards: David DelPo won bronze in religion; Brian Pontious, of Bordentown, won silver in history; Kristina Gutierrez, of Bordentown, won gold in spelling for the second year in a row; and Cerina Pocino won gold in art. The competition was conducted by the Msgr. McCorristin Chapter of the National Honor Society.
