On Feb. 15, Marina Echavarria celebrated the grand opening of EBB, Eco Beauty Bar in Bordentown City.

EBB is a new concept in beauty store with a singular focus on healthy, all natural solutions for skin and hair care. EBB is also including other products to round out a more naturally beautiful life including soy-based candles and handmade jewelry, and provides some beauty services, such as eyebrow waxing.

“For a long time I’ve wanted to provide consumers with an alternative to the chemically-laden products on the market,” Echavarria said. “I’m a huge fan of natural-based products especially those formulated especially for helping to solve many of the issues we all face, such as wrinkles, acne, hyperpigmentation.”

Other products are set to include scrubs, lotions and aromatherapy oils, as well as men’s products, like shaving kits and natural deodorants.

Echavarria, who led the effort to open ShowCase, the holiday pop up shop, in the fall, is continuing the mission of being a vehical for locally-made products. Many of EBB’s vendors are from the area including Scrumptious Scrubs, Soylicious Candles and many of the jewelry items.

EBB is located at 225 Farnsworth Ave. inside the new Sweet Inspirations shop, which offers antique and vintage items via consignment, plus teas and local honey.
