The WW-P 15-year-old All-Stars had a successful run in the Babe Ruth Mid-Atlantic Regional tournament before falling in the quarterfinal round to Hamilton on August 9.

After the team made it out of pool play, they opened the regional with wins against College Point and Bear, DE, before landing into the elimination bracket after falling to North Syracuse on August 7. The team bounced back with a win over Manalapan, 5-0, on August 8, but found the end of the road on August 9 against Hamilton, its biggest rival.

There was no shortage of good batting throughout the team’s run in the MAR, though, especially with key sluggers like Matt McCann, Pat Boyle, and Ben Ruta and pitching and hitting efforts from players like Paul Balestrieri.
