Despite a good batting effort, with two home runs, the West Windsor Little League 12-year-old All-Stars reached the end of the line on June 22 when they fell to Colts Neck, 6-4, in the losers’ bracket final — just one game short of the Section 3 championship game.

However, the team had already claimed the District 12 title and had an impressive undefeated run to the title before advancing to the sectionals.

The West Windsor-Plainsboro Babe Ruth 13-year-old All Stars also closed out their season with a loss to Mount Laurel in the losers’ bracket of the Southern New Jersey regional tournament, 13-3.

The 13s, however, also claimed their own District 1 title before moving on to the regional tournament, also capping off an undefeated run.

The West Windsor-Plainsboro Babe Ruth 13-year-old All Stars have also been victorious this summer, claiming the District 1 Tournament title with their win over Hamilton on July 18, capping off an undefeated run.

Prior to the loss to Mount Laurel, the team defeated Brick Memorial and fell to Northern Burlington.
